Chorale 2024 Itinerary

“For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps.” (1 Peter 2:21)

On their 2024 Spring Tour, the Appalachian Bible College Chorale presents a program that magnifies the Lord—the One Who is “great in all His ways, worthy of our praise!” As believers reflect upon the footsteps of life, they see God’s sovereign hand directing them through the deepest valleys and over the highest mountains. On every path, the Lord provides and enables believers to walk in COURAGE, COMFORT, and CONFIDENCE.

In this concert of reflection and praise, the Chorale will perform the following timeless hymns of the church: “Our Great Savior,” “I Must Tell Jesus,” and “A Firm Foundation.” Additionally, the Chorale will sing some classic spirituals and contemporary choral masterpieces including Craig Courtney’s “Footsteps,” Tom Trenney’s “Let Your Faith Be Stronger Than Your Fear,” Howard Helvey’s “I Want Jesus to Walk with Me,” Shawn Kirchner’s “Unclouded Day,” and Elaine Hagenberg’s “All Things New.” The program includes several a cappella pieces as well as selections accompanied by piano and cello.
